CAPSLOCK; a music platform for DJs, producers, artists, performers, stylists, and visual artists. Since 2011, Carlos Capslock has been one of the most revolutionary characters in São Paulo nightlife. Strange, irreverent and funny, it has changed the concept of the dance floor for most clubbers in the last 10 years. Little by little the party became a reference in the underground movement in São Paulo and throughout Brazil. Considered one of the most fun and insane parties, it offers a unique experience in each edition for the public. CAPSLOCK is a party that represents São Paulo; a multiple, multifaceted city, condensing different cultures, genres, tastes and styles in the same urban space.
Carlos CAPSLOCK Enters Numas in 2nd Turn On
Party with a dance floor that took place in Vila dos Galpós. We use addressable LED tubes and DMX lights to compose the look of the stage and all areas of the event.
Carlos CAPSLOCK Enter Numas from the 90s
Here we appropriated and modified Fabrique, creating an environment reminiscent of cabaret and theater using LED screens with authorial and reactive content operated live, tubular lights and scenographic elements. The entire base of our vj set videos was created with analog video synthesizers. The party featured a performance by French DJ Wyld.
Aniversário de 7 anos e meio da CAPSLOCK
CAPS' iconic birthday party took place at the Nenê samba school in Vila Matilde. The party had two tracks. For the indoor track, we prepared a stage designed with boxtruss structures, dmx lights and addressable tuboleds. For the external track we used giant abandoned structures that were on site to serve as support for our lights. We used tubulars with addressable LEDs assembled by us and a few pairs of LEDs forming two large sculptures. Both tracks were operated live (Light Jockey).
Carlos CAPSLOCK Pocket Show by Ta Lento w/ Rotciv
Another iconic and picturesque location. This time it was time to appropriate and "redesign" the Susy Em Transe space. The place, which was once an important point of São Paulo's nightlife in Vila do Arouche, was now in a shack on Rua do Gasologista.

We created two tracks and two stages containing mapped projections and a VJ set, light jockey, tubular lights and scenographic objects.

The party featured the Brazilian producer and DJ based in Berlin, ROTCIV
Carlos CAPSLOCK Enter Numas with DJ Hell
The first CAPS of 2018 was a milestone. With the presence of Dj Hell, who in addition to being a producer is the creator and owner of the celebrated label Gigolo Records, Vila dos Galgãos was occupied by and transformed into another great scene. We created the stage design and lights interacting with a large central scenographic element, in a project that shined both at night and during the day.
Carlos CAPSLOCK Cabaret Steampunk
Once again in Vila dos Galpós and once again an iconic party. The Steamounk dresscode theme made the public's imagination fly and made ours too. We used an old CAPS scenographic structure to create a monster made up of old iron and dmx lights, which was also the main language element of the scene and the track. To compose our creature we scoured local junkyards and selected a series of parts and gears that shaped the character. Light came out of his eyes and smoke came out of his mouth.
Carlos CAPSLOCK Zerou Fashions and News
Another party with different environments at the former Fábrica de Azeites, a place opened by CAPS that was later the stage for several other independent and agency parties. The special guest was Anderson Noise and we worked with the appropriation of local old scrap metal, dmx lights, and mapped projections and vjing on layers of transparent fabric generating a holographic effect.
Carlos CAPSLOCK and Paranoid London
In yet another location discovered by São Paulo's underground electronic scene, Funilaria, we welcomed the incredible British duo Paranoid London. As in many of our works we create an interesting composition by mixing various language elements.
CAPSLOCK and the license of Fabrica De Azeite
This event was a milestone in São Paulo's nightlife and culture, inaugurating a whole new era of professionalism in the independent party scene. When we arrived at the Fábrica de Azeite we thought it would be impossible to do everything possible to remove the permit and be able to hold our event, but with a lot of effort and work the permit came out and we transformed that ruined place into a big party with two dance floors, a lounge with video art display and a large outdoor area. All of this decorated with dmx lights, light tubes, video mapping and scenography played live as in a visual orchestra.
