CAPSLOCK is a music platform for DJs, producers, visual artists, performers and stylists. Since 2011, Carlos Capslock has been one of the most revolutionary characters in São Paulo nightlife. Strange, irreverent and funny, it changed the concept of the dance floor for mostclubbers in the last 10 years. Little by little the party became a reference in the underground movement in São Paulo and throughout Brazil. Considered one of the most fun and insane parties, it offers a unique experience in each edition for the public. CAPSLOCK is a party that represents São Paulo; a multiple, multifaceted city, condensing different cultures, genres, tastes and styles in the same urban space.

Making reference to the new wave of artificial intelligence, this edition of Capslock was an intimate version where we had the opportunity to completely reframe the look of Club A. Line Up prioritized national artists and we worked on appropriating some lights from the place and adding others . We also occupied the two-lane panels and added some scenographic elements

Carlos CAPSLOCK Enters Numas of Metapeverso Electoral
CAPSLOCK has always been a pioneer in terms of discovering new locations and in this edition it was once again. Located in the Barra Funda neighborhood in São Paulo, the Toy Factory was a huge place and full of challenges due to the large expanses of space. And the party took place and was another success, launching this new location in the city that was later used by practically all independent groups and commercial agencies in SP.
There were two dance floors, a lounge for Heineken, the Caps Drag Show and all the event's living and service areas.
We use addressable LED, DMX lights, LED screens and our content, as always, was original and played with the feeling of the music.
10 e 11 Anos de Carlos CAPSLOCK: Verão CyberPunk
Cyberpunk Summer was a theme created by Modular Dreams, based on our Tropical Goth style concept. There were two tracks exploring the cyberpunk theme using lighting and LED panels arranged in an original and fragmented way, reminiscent of a cyberpunk city.
Our Vjing material, as always, was authorial, reactive audio, mapped and manipulated live, using as a base our library of videos created using a contemporary analog video synthesizer.
Once again we repeated the collaborative experience with photographer and artist Bruno Dantas, who created a new collection of images of our work, also appropriating it, through a genuine crossing of his vision and that of the CAPS performance artists.
Carlos CAPSLOCK Enters Numas from Bursting the Clown
In this edition we specially invited the photographer and artist Bruno Dantas (photos on the right) to come to the party to take images of our work and his eyes captured the intersection of languages that we provoked with light, creating expressive environments to record unique portraits of the public and the performers. It took place at Fabriqueta, located in the Brás neighborhood in São Paulo, a recurring location for Carlinhos parties.
The graphic design of this edition was done by us. We decided to work on repeating the same element in different layers of the party, from the flyer to the presence on each of the dance floors. The clown images were produced in mirrored acrylic.
